I am traveling to Australia for the first time in May 2019 and have just booked a 2 day Kakadu and East Alligator River tour! I found Kakadu Tours and Travel on the internet and their website is attractive, easy to navigate with photos and information about the trips they offer. What an array of options!!So I sent an email to find out more. Within only minutes, I received a friendly, helpful reply from Karen at Kakadu Tours. I was so impressed with her outstanding service and communications. She quickly responded to my initial inquiry and provided me informative, helpful details. Back and forth was fast and easy, spanning the globe and the 17 hour time difference from Kakadu area to Seattle. I booked my tour, payed by credit card and am eagerly looking forward to the experience. Wish I had more time for a longer tour - as they offer 5 day trips, including camping experiences. Thanks to Karen and Kakadu Tours for what promises to be a fantastic little tour in the Northern Territories of Australia.
Karen is amazing.I completed the simple to follow, itinerary builder to which she replied immediately, with further advice about tours and accommodation. When we had arranged our flights from N.Z I emailed Karen and asked her to make the bookings for our accommodation. Due to the time difference and so that we would not lose our preferred flights, she had 2 hours to complete the task. Not only did she achieve this, she also booked our tours. Karen kept us updated throughout the process, and rang to finalise details in time. She has continued to give us tips about our forthcoming trip. We are very impressed with the service Karen offers.

My two teenage children and I only had 3 days (sadly that is) & Karen, in a very short period of time I should add managed to book us on a private charter for a 3 Day Kakadu & Litchfield 4WD Tour.It was exceptional and we found the tour to be simply stunning, from the beautiful scenery, which was breath taking, to the diverse landscape. What a privilege to have such a fantastic opportunity to explore this amazing land in such a way. Our guide was quite outstanding - brilliant company, easy going, incredibly knowledgeable, bloody handy on a camp fire and just got who we were and what we would enjoy. You could see that even for someone who was doing this day in day out, he obviously cared enough to ensure that you felt like this was his first trip also. A good bloke to boot. Would return in a heart beat without a seconds reservation. We cannot thank Karen at Kakadu Tours and Travel enough. We will certainly be back.
